Barns to me represent a place to escape. It's where phone calls, emails, text messages and all other forms of communication come to a temporary halt. It's where you are able to relax and be in the moment. They're an escape from our daily comings and goings. It's the therapy we all need.
This is why I decided, upon graduating from college with an engineering degree, to start a company that would help create that magical place where it is just you and your horse.
[my personal paradise]
More recently though, as I work on site development for my first project, I have been delving into the world of remodeling. What a daunting task this can be... from selecting the right contractor, to designing your new space and then actually making it all happen... it's quite the task. I find it really exciting. So, while slowly learning the remodeling process and all the subtle nuances that come along with such a project, I've decided to start a blog so that I might be able to share my experience with you. I hope that I may share my skill as a concept designer and a project manager, and possibly even inspire you to begin your own projects, may they be a barn sized paradise or a new cozy corner you've always dreamed of.
I also hope to share with you some of my equine essentials. Everything from apparel to tack to barn accessories and beyond! Hopefully this will become a source of inspiration and a go to for the latest and greatest of equine necessities.
