A Chance for the Triple Crown?

First the Derby and now the Preakness!
From now until the Belmont Stakes on June 9th we will all be holding our breath and waiting to see if I'll Have Another will take the Triple Crown.  In the 137 years that these races have been run there have only been 11 horses to streak to this high honor.  The infamous Secretariat in 1973, Seattle Slew in 1977 and Affirmed in 1978 have been the most recent to win thoroughbred racing's most coveted prize.  Could I'll Have Another be the next horse to do it?

You can tell this horse LOVES to run but can he make the distance.  He proved himself at the Derby running the 10 furlongs (1.25 mi)  and finishing a length and a half ahead.  And again at the Preakness with another victory after running the 9.5 furlong distance.  But how will he fare at the Belmont Stakes?  It is the longest of the three Triple Crown races at 12 furlongs.

Many have been saying that I'll Have Another's late speed and surge at the end of both the Derby and the Preakness are a sure sign that he will "dominate" at the Belmont.  This could possibly by the first horse of the 21st Century to win the Triple Crown.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see...
