What is a Barn?

Beams, wood, stalls, hay, lofts, horses, friends, fresh air... What is a barn to you?  To me, it's something like this...

This barn from Heritage Reclaimed Structures is all the timber-framed enchantment that I love.  Reusing vintage lumber is an amazing way to accent your barn as well as create a unique structure.

That same enchanted feeling comes back to me with this barn below.  It emulates a functional peacefulness with the simplicity that only comes from a that is filled with people who love to ride and be with their horses, that is this barn.

I rode at this barn in college.  It is an amazing working barn, filled with horses and always brimming with activity.  It was the escape from campus I needed while at school... No matter how bad my day was, the minute I walked into the barn, it all seemed to disappear.  Everyone needs a place like that.
