Currently, I am happy to share that I have TWO projects in progress. The first is a remodel of a small 18 x 20 foot pool house in Connecticut. And the second is establishing a place to keep a pair of trail horses on that same property.
Both projects are still in the conceptual design phase. This means that solid ideas of what is to be build have been developed, and drawings fore these ideas have been created so that they can be presented to a contractor and architect. As of now a final exterior design for the pool house has been selected, but he floor plan and layout still need a little more tweaking before they're completely finished. All the conceptual designs should be fully completed by March 30th. Here's an existing photo of the pool house as it stands now.
The small barn project needs a lot more TLC right now. The property has adjacent wetlands, which means that careful considerations need to be made for the placement of a barn and paddocks, the wetlands set back distances need to be repsected. The current plan is to construct a two stall temporary barn to house the two horses. The conceptual design and site layout for this project should be completed by March 30th as well.
I'll be sure to keep you all updated on the progress of both projects. So much to do and so little time to do it!!
